Held under the theme “Cleanliness and Water Conservation: Protect, Save and Restore,” the campaign sought to raise public awareness about the critical importance of hygiene and environmental preservation. Against the backdrop of growing concerns over pollution, the initiative aimed to emphasise the essential role cleanliness plays in maintaining a healthy environment and sustainable future.

Haresh Sharma, Director of CEVA, described the cleanliness drive as more than just a programme, calling it a mass movement aimed at creating a cleaner and safer environment. He stressed the need for proactive community participation to ensure environmental protection for future generations.

Throughout the campaign, Dr Sharma also shared valuable insights into effective water conservation techniques, including methods to prevent water wastage, rainwater harvesting, water reuse and safeguarding natural water sources from contamination. Public education on conserving water resources was a major focus of the initiative.

At the conclusion of the campaign, participants took a collective pledge to protect, conserve, and restore water resources, reaffirming their commitment to securing clean and abundant water supplies for generations to come.
