Eight students of the College of Forestry of Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) and received the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

Among those who have cleared the University’s Grants Commission’s NET, Pradeep Puri and Mudhulika Thakur are students of the Department of Social Sciences while Panshul and Ankush are from the Department of Environmental Science and Ananthakrishnan S from the Department of Soil Science and Water Management.

Besides, Rushal Dogra and Saurabh Thakur, students of the Department of Silviculture and Agroforestry, have received the UGC Junior Research Fellowship.

University Vice-Chancellor Rajeshwar Singh Chandel congratulated the students for their performances.
