Dharamsala, June 9
Six more persons tested positive today in Kangra taking the total number of coronavirus cases in the district to 115. Those who tested positive today include a 31-year-old resident of Chowli village, who travelled back from Delhi on May 28 and was at present at institutional quarantine in Bani area near Pragpur.
A resident of Karot village, who travelled back from Ludhiana on May 29 and was at institutional quarantine centre at Dhaliara degree college, in Dhaliara area of Kangra district, tested positive.
A resident of Salial village near Palampur, who travelled back from Chandigarh on May 29, and was at institutional quarantine at Dhaliara, was found Covid positive.
A resident of Harchakiyan village, who returned from Delhi on June 1, and was at institutional quarantine at Prour, was found infected.
A resident of Salooni in Chamba district, who travelled back from Delhi on June 1, and was at present at institutional quarantine in Prour and a resident of Thana Bargram village near Takipur in Kangra who travelled back from Delhi on June 2, were found positive.
All those who tested positive today were shifted to Covid Containment Centre at Baijnath.
Deputy Commissioner Kangra, Rakesh Prajapati said that four persons were cured today and discharged from Covid containment centres in the district.
