6 special trains for Mahakumbh devotees
The Railways has initiated six special trains from Una to ferry devotees to the Mahakumbh festival in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, from January 13 to February 26. The first train was flagged off from the Amb Andaura railway station in Una district at 10:05 pm, departing Una railway station at 10:35 pm. It will traverse four states, halting at 17 stations before reaching its final destination at Fafamau near Prayagraj at 6 pm on Saturday. The remaining five special trains are scheduled to depart from Amb Andaura on January 20, February 5, February 9, February 15 and February 23. The trains aim to accommodate the heavy influx of pilgrims travelling to the Mahakumbh.
