About 70 thatched roof hutments were gutted today in a fire that broke out in a migrant worker’s colony in Malahat Nagar of Una district. No one was hurt.

Officers from the district administration and voluntary organizations provided immediate relied like utensils, blankets, tarpaulins and food items to the victim families. —

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
