Teachers slam state government
The Himachal Government Teachers Association has alleged that the government has not resolved their issues in the past four years of its tenure. The association claimed that there were 90,000 teachers in the state but the government had not made any appropriate platform like the JCC to hear their demands. Also, attempts were made to snatch their right to express their views when the Education Directorate issued an order that teachers would not speak against the government or the department through the press, they alleged.
