The District Congress Committee, Mandi, has sought disciplinary action against disgruntled leaders who have raised questions over the functioning of HPCC president Kuldeep Singh Rathore. A resolution in this regard was also passed today.

Recently, supporters of senior party leader Kaul Singh Thakur and former HPCC president Sukhwinder Sukhu had held a meeting here in which they had criticised the working style of Rathore.

Resentment has been brewing among supporters of senior leader Kaul Singh Thakur and former HPCC chief Sukhvinder Sukhu since Rathore expanded the organisational set up in the state.

Meanwhile, Dipak Sharma, a former DCC president, Mandi, and close aide of Kaul Singh and Sukhu, said the move to sideline senior leaders was unacceptable. — TNS
