Shimla Recruitment Director Col Pushvinder Kaur revealed in a press statement issued here today that the recruitment of candidates from Shimla, Solan and Kinnaur who qualified the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) online examination for Agniveer Scheme will be conducted between September 3 and 9.

All the qualified candidates are required to carry their civil documents for verification, such as marksheets of classes X and XII, original residence proof certificate, Dogra/minority certificate, caste certificate, character certificate (issued online by the tehsildar) and NCC/sports certificates. Candidates will undergo physical fitness and measurement criteria. They are required to run 1.6 kilometres in five minutes and 30 seconds, with a total of 60 points allocated for the task. Additionally, candidates must complete 10 pull-ups for which 40 points are allocated. Candidates also need to pass along jump and zig-zag balance test.

Candidates who complete the 1.6 kilometres run in a minimum time of 5 minutes and 45 seconds will be selected for the next phase of recruitment rally.
