The objective was to evaluate the status of various works in local gram panchayats and expedite their completion within the stipulated timeframe.
Presiding over the meeting, the minister reviewed projects under the PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, Planning Head, MNREGA, PM Awas Yojana and CM Awas Yojana. After examining progress reports from officials of the departments concerned, he directed them to ensure both the quality and speed of implementation of all government-sponsored schemes in the constituency.
He further instructed that all development works be completed within the prescribed period and initiated before the declaration of Panchayati Raj elections, so the public can benefit on time. He also directed panchayat secretaries to immediately submit Forest Rights Act (FRA) cases of their respective areas to the Block Development Officers for priority resolution.
Emphasising accountability, Kumar asked officials to regularly review progress and address public grievances promptly. He warned that any negligence or delay in development activities would not be tolerated and urged elected panchayat representatives and departmental employees to work in close coordination to ensure smooth, transparent and time-bound completion of projects.
