Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV) has officially started services for its scientists, faculty and students under the “One Nation, One Subscription” (ONOS) initiative. It is a portal created by the INFLIBNET (Information and Library Network), the Government of India, thereby enabling the researchers to access a vast repository of academic and scientific resources.

Vice-Chancellor Naveen Kumar said the ONOS initiative was aimed at providing national-level access to e-journals and databases from 30 leading global publishers, including Elsevier, Wiley, Springer Nature, IEEE, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, and Taylor & Francis, among others on a single platform. This initiative grants access to over 13,000 full-text journals across diverse disciplines. He urged the scientists and the student community to make full use of this valuable e-resource portal for academic and research excellence.

University librarian RK Asrani said CSKHPKV had both on-campus and off-campus facilities to access these resources, ensuring seamless academic and research opportunities. This resource material shall also be accessible to the scientists and researchers of KVKs and regional research centres through remote access platform of the library.
