Akashvani Dharamsala organised a special farmers’ quiz on the occasion of ‘Radio Kisan Diwas’ on Thursday. Three teams of farmers, namely ‘Valentine’, ‘Ring of Fire’ and ‘Teddybear’, participated in the quiz.

In the programme, Kisanvani in-charge and programme head Gerindra Thakur welcomed the participants and experts and told them the rules of the quiz.

Horticulture expert Dr Nisha Kumari Mehra was the quiz master. The characters of Kisanvani, Kisan Mitra and Dehro Tai also registered their presence in the programme. The specialty of the quiz was that all farmers and agricultural experts part of it were women. Gerindra Thakur said All-India Radio Dharamsala had organised the special programme on Radio Kisan Diwas so that information about agriculture could be passed on to more farmers.
