The passengers of national regional flag carrier, Alliance Air, travelling from Kullu to Chandigarh and Delhi, are a harried lot as the executives of the airline or the airport counter at the Bhuntar airport are not reachable over the phone. The only flight to Kullu often gets cancelled due to bad weather, especially during the rainy season. Due to this, many travellers have to call the airline counter at Bhuntar to check the status of the flight.

Atul, a frequent traveller, said the landline number at the counter had been out of order for the past some time and the mobile phone being used by various station managers for the past seven years had also been suspended.
