Chamba, April 10

Apoorv Devgan, IAS officer of 2015-batch, took over as the Deputy Commissioner of Chamba district today.

Prior to taking over as Deputy Commissioner, he was holding the charge of Member Secretary, Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board.

Devgan has also served on important posts of the SDM, Banjar and Karsog and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shimla, a government press note said. — OC

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
