The growers have reported of having suffered financial losses due to fraudulent activities by these traders, who have not only misappropriated large sums of money but also threatened the farmers with violence when they sought repayment. In response, the body has urged the SIT to file criminal charges against the culprits involved in this financial misconduct. The body has also urged the government to enforce strict regulation of the markets according to the market laws.
