Appoint candidates who have cleared exams for two posts: Cabinet sub-panel

A meeting of the Cabinet sub-committee constituted to examine various issues pertaining to all recruitment cases, where the exam results were pending due to ongoing investigations into the disbanded HP Staff Selection Commission, Hamirpur, was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri here today.

The sub-committee recommended that the candidates, who had cleared the recruitment examinations under Post Code 916 (Fireman) and Post Code 977 (Market Supervisor), be given appointment. Agnihotri, who heads the committee, said that the results of the exams for these posts had already been declared and the sub-committee would send the case of both post codes to the Cabinet for the final decision.

Further discussions were held regarding the implementation of the recommendations of the sub-committee to expedite the appointment process and ensure that all selected candidates were placed in their respective positions at the earliest.

Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, Youth Service and Sports Minister Yadvinder Goma, Secretary (Personnel) M. Sudha Devi, Secretary (Law) Sharad Kumar Lagwal, ADGP (Vigilance) Satwant Atwal Trivedi, DIG (Vigilance) Rahul Nath and Secretary of the HP Rajya Chayan Aayog, Hamirpur, Vikram Mahajan attended the meeting.
