An Army recruitment rally will be held at Prithi Military Station, Averipatti, under the Rampur subdivision in Shimla district, from November 20 to 27 said Deputy Commissioner (DC), Shimla, Anupam Kashyap while he chaired a meeting regarding that was held here today regarding the preparations for the upcoming rally.

DC assured the Army officers of providing all possible assistance for the recruitment rally. He stated that all facilities would be ensured at the recruitment site so that the youth coming for recruitment do not face any inconvenience. He directed the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Rampur, to convene a meeting at the sub-divisional level to ensure that no one misleads the youth during the recruitment process. “The entire recruitment process is video recorded to maintain transparency” he added.

DC also urged the Army officials to ensure uninterrupted electricity and water supply in Averipatti during the recruitment rally. He also directed the army officials to ensure that accommodation is available at reasonable prices for the youth who will come to participate in the recruitment rally.
