He started his spellbound performance with his punjabi song ‘Gairan de vede ch ja ke aai hai…’ and kept the audience enthralled till late night. His songs ‘Dukh taan sunadi sare tod dene aa’ and ‘Yaaran de vare bol na kude’ forced audience to dance on the beats. Earlier, local artistes entertained the audience with their performances. For the first time, people of the town enjoyed exciting belly dance performance by young local dancer Shiva Khan.

The festival committee also organised sports and other activities today, including rangoli-making, kabbadi and wrestling. — OC
