The participants were given a tough target of 48 km on the fifth day of the Paragliding World Cup on Wednesday.

Ankit Sood, spokesperson of Bir Paragliding Association, said as the weather was a little bad and the visibility low behind the mountains, the participants were given a target of 4 times going back and forth from Billing to Ahju. As many as 65 participants from 23 countries took part in the event.

Sood said in today’s tawk, Austin Cox of the USA is in first position with 2,243 points, Alexander of Kazakhstan holds the second position with 2,195 points and Bess Halesz of Hungary is maintaining third position with 2,160 points. Ranjeet Kumar of India holds fourth position with 2,150 points and is improving his performance every day.

In the women's category, Joanna Kokot of Poland occupies first position with 1,947 points, Daria Altikova of Germany is in second position with 915 points and Hituse Ting of Taiwan is third with 890 points. In the team category, Jayvik Air Team is in first position with 5,414 points, Kazakhstan team is second with 5,350 points and India's Dream to Fly Team occupies third position with 5,195 points.
