Thereafter he received a WhatsApp message in Punjabi, which he translated through Google. It read: “Ramkishen we have been keeping tabs on you for many days. You are flying high and now you have bought a Defender car. A meeting will be held at your house. Be prepared for the first and last meeting.”

He later received a call at 11.57 am the same day, which he did not attend. Thereafter, several calls were made by the unidentified caller. He finally answered a call at 5.33 pm the next day. The caller gave him 21 days either to pay Rs 1 crore or face dire consequences.
