Chamba, April 9

In view of the ‘rally of Chamba’, District Magistrate DC Rana has banned the movement of vehicles and passers-by on various routes of the district on April 10 and 11 as per the prescribed time schedule.

As per the orders, restrictions would be imposed on the movement of vehicles and passers-by on the Obri to Chahla road from 6 am to 12 noon, Uteep to Panela from 12 noon to 4 pm and Sungal to Haripur from 2 pm to 6 pm on April 10.

On April 11, there would be a ban on movement on Haripur to Mani from 5 am to 11 pm, Khawali to Masroond from 8 am to 12 noon and Panela to Uteep from 11 am to 5 pm.

Rana stated that during the rally, vehicles would run on the roads at a high speed, and people should not come out or leave their cattle on the roads.

Superintendent of Police, SDM, Regional Transport Officer and Regional Manager of the HRTC had also been directed to ensure compliance of these orders, Rana said.
