Bank rolls out concessional loans for cooperative members

Speaking at the event, Bank Chairman Devendra Shyam stated that the initiative aims to support the financial needs of 15-16 lakh primary members of these cooperative societies. The scheme is designed not only to provide loans at reduced interest rates but also to promote financial inclusion, support agricultural development and drive broader economic growth. Under the new scheme, eligible members can avail loans at 0.10 basis points below the existing card rates across all applicable schemes.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.
