The team of Hydro Engineering College, Bilaspur, won the silver medal at the Innovation Expo during the IIIT-Una Tech Fest. The students received a warm welcome upon their return to the college at Bandla Dhar, Bilaspur.

Dr Himanshu Monga, Director-cum-Principal of the college, informed that the winning team comprised Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) students Raj Jamwal, Sheetal Sharma, Trisha Thakur, and Shanvi Sharma. They presented an innovative project titled “E-Health Solution for Remote Areas”, aimed at providing affordable healthcare in remote regions.

Dr Monga praised the project’s social impact and innovation, stating it could help people in critical situations. He also congratulated the project guide, Er Ravi Kumar, highlighting his vital role in the team’s success. Dr Shashi Gurung, Head of the CSE Department, also commended the team’s achievement, expressing pride in the efforts and innovation of the “Hydro Team.”
