State BJP president Rajeev Bindal on Friday entrusted duties for launching various programmes to the coordinators of the state-level party cells. He presided over a meeting of the cell coordinators here. The conveners of various cells like law, business, doctor, intellectual, senior citizen, Dev Samaj and panchayati raj attended the meeting. “To expand the work of the party and the organisation in different sections of the state, 15 cells have been formed. Besides, more cells will be formed so that the work of the party is made all-encompassing and all-touching,” he added.

Bindal said that the construction of a grand Ram Temple at Ayodhya and the consecration programme of Ram Lalla on January 22 would be celebrated and seen with great enthusiasm in all cities, villages and temples across Himachal Pradesh. He added that the Ayodhya Ram Temple Darshan Yatra would start after January 25.

He said that state BJP vice-president Sanjeev Katwal would be the coordinator of the yatra while his team would comprise Ravi Mehta, former Mayor Kusum Sadrate, former BJP district president Vijay Parmar, former Deputy Mayor Rakesh Sharma and former BJP district general secretary of Shimla Gagan Sharma.

Bindal said that on January 29, the first train would leave from Una to Ayodhya and around 1,300 Ram devotees from Una, Hamirpur and Bilaspur districts would travel in it. Similarly, in the coming two months, devotees would go to Ayodhya in vehicles for the darshan of Ramlala.
