Bindal said ever since it came to power, the Sukhu government closed more than 1,100 institutions opened by the previous BJP government. “The government has put the future of lakhs of youth in jeopardy as it closed the Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission in Hamirpur, which was constituted to provide jobs to the youth,” he said.

“The road work was halted, along with the closure of 800 more schools,” he added.

He said various schemes such as the Sahara Yojana, Shagun Yojana, Ayushman and Him care, which were started for the welfare of the poor, have indirectly been closed.
