State BJP president Rajeev Bindal today alleged the ruling Congress was deliberately stalling developmental works in the Nahan Assembly segment.

Bindal, while addressing mediapersons here, said, “A four-storey administrative building was proposed for the Nahan Municipal Council (MC). While two floors were proposed for parking vehicles, the other two floors were to house administrative offices. However, only two floors to be used for parking vehicles had been completed.”

He said that the state government had not released funds for the construction of the building. “Local MLA Ajay Solanki has deliberately stalled developmental works to be undertaken by the Nahan MC. Due to a paucity of funds, only two floors of the four-storey building have been completed and are being used for parking vehicles,” he added.

Bindal alleged that Congress leaders pressured the local administration and fixed the inauguration time of the two-floor parking for today.
