The BJP legislature party passed a resolution, congratulating PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP president Jagat Prakash Nadia and senior BJP leadership of Bihar for the spectacular victory in Bihar assembly elections.
The main issues that the BJP will raise in the Assembly would be the relief and restoration works post the monsoon disaster.
The issue of attempt by the state government to defer panchayat elections also came up for discussion. “A constitutional crisis has emerged in the state following a face-off between the state government and the State Election Commission on the issue of holding elections, which is very serious and unfortunate,” said Naina Devi MLA Randhir Sharma, chief spokesperson of the BJP .
He said the deteriorating law and order situation and poor health services in the hospitals across the state will also be raised by the Opposition in the Assembly.
The monsoon session of the Assembly will be held from November 26 to December 5. Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, state BJP in-charge Shrikant, state BJP chief Rajeev Bindal and party MLAs attended the meeting.
