Speaker has no realisation

No legislator will accept the kind of words and language that the Vidhan Sabha Speaker is using when talking about MLAs. What is even more unfortunate is the fact that the Speaker does not even have realisation about having made such remarks nor is he apologetic about it. — Jai Ram Thakur, Leader of Opposition

Reacting to BJP skipping the BJP Legislature party meeting today, he said the Reason for not being present at the all party meeting had already been conveyed. “At least Congress has no moral right to talk about not upholding traditions as they have themselves broken traditions in the past,” he remarked.

The Speaker convenes an all-party meeting ahead of the Assembly session to seek cooperation of all political parties for the smooth conduct of the session.

Thakur also said that the BJP Legislature Party was very disappointed and unhappy with the attitude of the state government. “No legislator will accept the kind of words and language that the Vidhan Sabha Speaker is using when talking about MLAs” he said. What is even more unfortunate is the fact that the Speaker does not even have realisation about having made such remarks nor is he apologetic about it.

Thaur said the BJP is concerned about the deteriorating law and order situation and the rampant corruption, which will be raised vociferously during the session.
