As a mark of respect to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 100th birth anniversary, BJP will celebrate Good Governance Day on December 25 at the booth level across the state.

Stating this here on Friday, the BJP state general secretary said, as a tribute to the former PM, the BJP would take out ‘Sushasan Yatras’ on roads built under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojna (PMGSY).

“Youngsters will take part in programmes where the contribution of Vajpayee in establishing the BJP and his role as a Prime Minister will be discussed. Welfare schemes started by Vajpayee and by PM Modi for farmers and the development projects will be discussed,” he added. He said a number of programmes would be organised at the booth, Mandal, district and state level to pay respect to the visionary leader.
