The BJP today organised a meeting at the state party headquarters regarding the preparations for the Har Ghar Tiranga Yatra. BJP state president Rajeev Bindal, organisation general secretary Siddharthan and BJP state general secretary Bihari Lal Sharma were present in the meeting.
Sharma said, “All the brave warriors will be remembered in this campaign from August 10 onwards in 171 organisational mandals across the state,” he said.
He said on August 12 and 13, cleanliness campaign programmes will be organised at martyr memorials in every assembly constituency. “On August 14, a programme will be organised to commemorate the Partition Horrors Remembrance Day. This day is important because thousands of families suffered when India and Pakistan were partitioned,” he said.
On August 15, under the Har-Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, the Tricolour will be hoisted at all party offices (state, district and division), public places and at houses and establishments at each booth. Tree plantation programmes would also be held on this day, he said.
