Two employees of the Himachal Pradesh Civil Supply Corporation, identified as Neel Kamal and Devesh Kumar, were suspended yesterday, said Regional manager Sanjeev Verma. A team of the state Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau had earlier arrested the duo for allegedly accepting a bribe from a contractor.

The duo was allegedly arrested red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs. 5,000. The arrested employees have been remanded in 14-day judicial custody. Neel Kamal worked as a junior office assistant (IT) while Devesh Kumar was a helper in the corporation.
