Briefly: Nurpur's market to remain closed

The market road from Chodharian Da Khuh chowk to Niazpur in Nurpur town will remain closed from November 19 to 30 for repair work. Nurpur MC Executive Officer Asha Verma said due to the repair work, the entry of vehicles had been prohibited in the market area. The MC had procured requisite approval for restricting movement of vehicles on the damaged road stretch, she added.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
