The event began with a lively PT display by Forms I and II, followed by a series of exciting activities including taekwondo, gymnastics, yoga, scooty rush rally, pom-pom powerpuff and the mini mat marathon. The students’ energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship kept the audience engaged throughout the day.

The principal, Reuben T John, welcomed the chief guest and highlighted the role of sports in instilling discipline, resilience and collaboration among young learners.

“At AHSB, this philosophy comes to life as student development goes beyond physical fitness to embrace intellectual growth,” he said. “Chess, a game that sharpens strategic thinking and mental agility, is celebrated alongside athletic pursuits.”

Demonstrating this balanced approach, AHSB students recently excelled at the 3rd National School Teams Chess Championship 2025, organised by the Himachal Pradesh State Chess Association. Samarth Gupta clinched the Gold Medal in the Under-18 category, while Team B (Under-18) secured the Second Board Prize at the state level and finished seventh at the national level — a reflection of the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence of both mind and body.
