Amateur Drama Club, Gaiety Theatre, chairman Anil Walia and Auckland House School (Girls) English faculty members Pallavi Mehta and Rajani Harrison were the judges of the competition.
Even Exchange, a comedy play written by Paul S McCoy and performed by Lefroy House was much-loved by the audience.
The protagonist of the play is Andy Page, a man who wishes to teach his wife, Effie Page, a lesson in frugality.
For his portrayal of Effie Page, Vedansh Verma was adjudged the best actor.
Another crowd-favourite was Please have a seat and someone will be with you shortly, a one act play by Garth Winfield, performed by Matthew House.
The comedy is about two neurotic patients, David and Sue, meeting for the first time in a psychologist’s waiting room. While David is shy, Sue is an extrovert.
Gunagya Gupta won the title of overall Best Actor for his portrayal of David.
