Shandil said that the state government was committed to strengthening healthcare services in the state. “To ensure quality health care, the state government is strengthening medical institutions, recruiting doctors and paramedical staff and taking steps to strengthen Rogi Kalyan Samitis, which play an important role in ensuring quality health services,” he added.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
