The surge in new cases continued as the state witnessed 619 cases, taking the tally to 29,713. Besides 19 persons succumbed to the infection during the last two days.The fatality figure shot up to 435 in the last 48 hours with the highest number of five persons each dying in Kangra and Shimla, three in Kullu, two each in Mandi and Una while one person each died in Chamba and Solan.

While 236 persons tested positive on November 14, 383 new Covid cases were reported on Sunday. With this, the total number of active cases in the state was 6,879 out of a total of 29,713 total positive cases in the state. — TNS
