No interim protection from arrest to Kalra till May 18: HC

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Friday declined to grant interim protection from arrest to Navneet Kalra, seeking anticipatory bail in connection with the alleged black-marketing of oxygen concentrators, agreeing with the reasons given by the trial court while denying him the relief. PTI

Tsering elected president of Tibetan govt in-exile

Dharamsala: Penpa Tsering has been elected president (Sikyong) of the Tibetan government in-exile. The results were declared by the election commission on Friday. Election commissioner Wangdu Tsering said Tsering polled 34,324 votes while his rival Kalsang Dorjee Aukatsang obtained 28,307 votes. PTI
