Chail military school alumni organise 242-km run to celebrate centenary year

To celebrate the centenary year of the prestigious Rashtriya Military School (RMS), Chail, a 242-kilometre long ‘Centenary Ultra Run’ was coordinated by the alumni, symbolising the endurance, discipline and spirit of the school.

The run commenced on November 7 from Jalandhar Cantt, where the foundation stone of the school was laid in 1925, and concluded at the world’s highest cricket ground at RMS Chail on November 10.

The chief guest, Lt Gen S N Handa, PVM, AVSM, VSM (retd), in his address, congratulated the school fraternity on entering into the centenary year and producing distinguished citizens and military officers, who had brought honour and glory to the nation in various capacities. “RMS Chail’s Centenary Ultra Run stands as a testament to the school’s legacy and commitment to excellence, inspiring future generations to uphold its enduring values” he said.
