The Block Development Officers of Bhattiyat, Churah, Salooni and Pangi joined the meeting virtually. The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of works under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Gramin (PMAY-G), the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for the construction of school and Anganwari buildings and other development schemes. He directed the officials concerned to ensure all set targets were achieved timely.
Repaswal reviewed the ongoing works under the PMAY-G and said that the process of geo-tagging houses must be completed promptly, as per the stage of construction so that the next installment of funds could be released to the beneficiaries. He also instructed the officials concerned to expedite the pace of construction work.
The Deputy Commissioner discussed the construction of school and Anganwari buildings from CSR funds and stressed the need for strengthening inter-departmental coordination. He directed the officials to take over the completed buildings and ensure their proper utilisation. He directed the officers to inspect the availability of BaLA (Building as Learning Aid) features under the “Rangon Ki Pathshala” programme.
