Chamba Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mukesh Repaswal today convened a meeting to review the progress of projects under Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram, which aims to promote social, economic and educational development of minority communities of the district.

During the meeting, he emphasised that the programme’s objective was to foster growth within minority communities.

He instructed the SEs of the Public Works Department, Jal Shakti Department and Electricity Board to promptly provide detailed project reports for developmental projects in areas having more than 25 per cent of minority populations in the district. — OC
