To the allegations levelled by Hamirpur MLA Ashish Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that an attempt was being made to link the Chief Minister and his family to the land taken over by the Jal Shakti Department. “It was after receiving a court notice on December 16, 2021, that the department realised the land on which the tank was made belonged to the Chief Minister’s family,” he added.

About illegal mining allegations, Industry Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan said that following the rain disaster last year, 28 stone crushers were given permission to sell mined sand and gravel to make building material available to people.
