‘Chitrodi’ utsav was held during the snow festival in the Miyar valley at Udaipur, Lahaul and Spiti district, today.

The traditional archery competition was held at Karpat village. The utsav symbolises devotion and harmony, which is the hallmark of Lahaul-Spiti’s glorious tradition and cultural ethos.

DC Pankaj Rai said the major festivals like Udan, Fagli, Halda, Losar, Kuns, Zukaru, Gochi, Poona, Lamoi, Dachang are celebrated in winter and the style of the celebrations was different everywhere.
