No check on stray cattle menace

The Bhambla-Jahu bridge has become a hub of stray cattle. One can see stray cattle here any time during the day, blocking the road and putting the lives of commuters in danger. Being the boundary of Mandi and Hamirpur, the administration of both districts have done precious little towards controlling the menace. In fact, the number of animals is increasing with each passing day. The authorities concerned should take necessary steps to curb the menace in the area. — Vinod Sharma, Mandi

Improve vaccination facility for elderly

In Dharamsala, the Covid vaccination drive is being conducted at the community hall. The hall has steep stairs and no ramps. The elderly are not able to take the stairs. For those, who can’t take the stairs, the administration should make arrangement for vaccination in cars or in the parking lot. The government can also consider vaccinating the elderly at their doorsteps. — Inder Mohan, Ram Nagar, Dharamsala
