According to Arvind Dogra, Director of Noorpur Public School, Abhijat will pursue research in the field of marine engineering under the mentorship of Jagadeesh Kandiyam, Assistant Professor at IIT Mandi, which will serve as the Higher Education Institution (HEI) partner.

Significantly, only 40 students from across India have been selected under the PRAYAAS scheme, which provides them an opportunity to collaborate with experts from premier institutions and gain hands-on research experience.

Abhijat will soon begin this year-long research journey, eager to make the most of this unique opportunity. The NCERT-sponsored initiative seeks to promote research aptitude, creativity and scientific thinking among young learners by engaging them in meaningful, real-world projects.
