Over a dozen passengers had a close shave after a private bus hit a parapet due to break malfunction at Katoshi on Salooni-Himgiri road in Churah subdivision on Friday.

A major tragedy was averted due to the presence of mind shown by the driver. All passengers on board escaped unhurt. According to eyewitnesses, the bus was heading towards Himgiri when near Katoshi the driver noticed that the breaks were not working.
