Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has directed the Finance Department to clear all pending bills of contractors associated with the Public Works, Jal Shakti and other departments by April 30.

Sukhu, while presiding over a meeting of the Finance Department held here, directed officials to clear the pending bills of the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Shimla, PGI, Chandigarh, and Tanda medical college under the Himcare Scheme.

He also instructed them to release the pending instalments of the beneficiaries of the Sahara scheme at the earliest.
