Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today paid tributes to Kargil martyrs on the occasion of Vijay Diwas.

Heexpressed profound respect and gratitude to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.

He extended heartfelt gratitude to the families of the brave soldiers on behalf of the people of the state. He said that the brave hearts sacrificed their lives for the cause of the nation and fought bravely, facing the rugged and lifeless mountains and cold deserts during the 1999 Kargil War.

The Chief Minister also paid homage to the courage and dedication of the Indian armed forces and highlighted the sacrifices made by 52 bravehearts from Himachal Pradesh. He praised their raw courage and heroic actions.
