Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today directed officials to ensure all necessary arrangements for the 350th Shaheedi Diwas of Guru Tegh Bahadur, scheduled in Shimla on November 1-2. He emphasised adequate transport and accommodation for devotees attending the event.

The Chief Minister also instructed the Shimla Municipal Corporation to ensure clean drinking water, proper sanitation and uninterrupted power supply at the venue. MLA Harish Janartha, Mayor Surender Chauhan, Secretary and president of Shimla Singh Sabha Jaswinder Singh, along with presidents of all gurdwaras across the state, attended the preparatory meeting.
