Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will inaugurate the International Shri Renukaji Fair in Sirmaur district tomorrow while Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla will preside over the closing ceremony on November 5.

As per the detailed schedule released by the district administration, the Chief Minister will be accorded a warm welcome in Dadahu at 1 pm on October 31. At 1.35 pm, he will participate in the traditional Dev Abhinandan ceremony and shoulder palanquins during the grand procession of Lord Parashurama. Later, at 4.15 pm, he will offer prayers at the Lord Parashurama Temple, followed by the inauguration and inspection of exhibitions at 5.05 pm.

For the first time, a special “aarti” of Goddess Renuka will be performed on the banks of the sacred Renuka Lake at 6 pm. Sukhu will then inaugurate the cultural evening at 6.35 pm and also address the gathering.
