Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, while interacting with Delhi-based investor SK Mishra from CT Power Limited through video conferencing from Shimla, said today that his government was committed to making Himachal Pradesh a favourite destination for investors by providing them all possible incentives and, above all, ensuring a conducive atmosphere for investment.

The Chief Minister said that the state offers immense potential for investment in the tourism sector, for which a tourism policy for sustainable development was in place. “Tourism acts as an engine for development, besides helping in the creation of direct and indirect employment avenues for the youth,” he added.

Thakur said that the availability of abundant sunshine and clear environment also make it a good place for setting solar power plants. He assured SK Mishra that his government would provide all possible help to the company.
