The Department of Tourism and Travel Management at Pandit Sant Ram Government College, Baijnath, celebrated World Tourism Day with great enthusiasm today. The event was coordinated under the guidance of the Head of Department Vishal Chaudhary, who apprised the audience about this year’s global theme “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation”.

Various competitions were organised to mark the day. In the essay writing competition, Kanika secured the first position, followed by Shikha (second) and Amrita (third). The stone painting competition saw Sakshi, Priyanka and Ishika clinching first, second and third position, respectively. In poster making, Riya won the first place, while Shalini and Vansh Kumar claimed the second and third spots, respectively. The rangoli competition was won by the pair of Arti and Sakshi. Anshika and Shalini stood second and the pair of Riya and Mridula bagged the third spot. In the quiz competition, the team of Krish and Ramesh stood first, Shailja and Kanika second, while Arti and Vanshul secured the third place.
